Ad Hoc Working Party on the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI)

Council of the EU

The Ad Hoc Working Party on the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI) was established in January 2015 following the Commission proposal to set up a European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) as part of the Investment Plan for Europe. The mandate of the working group is to form the Council's position on the proposal and negotiate possible compromises with the European Parliament.

The ad hoc working party is chaired by the financial counsellor from the Council presidency. It also invites representatives from the European Investment Bank to its meetings.
