In addition, Conventions may be concluded between the Member States of the European Union in various fields, such as Company Law and Double Taxation (Article 293 of the Treaty establishing the European Community).
Furthermore, Conventions between the Member States of the European Union may be established for adoption by them in matters concerning Police and Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters (Article 34 of the Treaty on European Union).
