Explanatory note:

Upon approval of this Agreement, Denmark recalls Protocol 22 on the position of Denmark annexed to the Treaty of Lisbon according to which Denmark does not participate in the elaboration and the implementation of decisions and actions of the Union which have defence implications. It is noted that this Agreement shall respect Denmark's status under Protocol 22. This, inter alia, limits the scope of the possible agreements, referred to in Part III of this Agreement, that Denmark can undertake

Au moment de l'approbation du présent accord, le Danemark rappelle le protocole n° 22 sur la position du Danemark annexé au traité de Lisbonne, en application duquel le Danemark ne participe pas à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des décisions et actions de l'Union qui ont des implications en matière de défense. Il est à noter que le présent accord respecte le statut du Danemark au titre du protocole n° 22. Celui-ci limite notamment la portée des éventuels accords, visés à la partie III du présent accord, auxquels le Danemark peut participer.
