Digital euro

Ministers agreed on the Eurogroup’s political guidance on the institutional framework for setting the ceiling for the holding limits and for the final issuance of the digital euro.

The Council Presidency updated the Eurogroup on ongoing work within the Council regarding the legislative package.

Eurogroup work programme to June 2026

Ministers approved the Eurogroup work programme, which outlines the final months of this year and first half of 2026.
