EU leaders condemn the illegal annexation by Russia.

The EU issued a declaration strongly condemning the illegal sham “referenda” by Russia in the Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

In his speech to the UN General Assembly, President Michel highlighted the horrors of the Russia's war against Ukraine, the EU’s support for Ukraine and its leadership in the face of the various crises.

The leaders of the G7 released a statement on the sham referenda initiated by Russia and underlined how these actions breach the UN Charter and international law.
