The Council today imposed restrictive measures on two additional individuals in respect of the ongoing unjustified and unprovoked Russian military aggression against Ukraine.

The Council today decided to prolong by six months, until 31 January 2023, the restrictive measures first introduced on 31 July 2014 which target specific economic sectors of the Russian Federation.

EU member states today reached a political agreement on a voluntary reduction of natural gas demand by 15% this winter.

The EU issued a declaration on malicious cyber activities conducted by hackers and hacker groups in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, stressing that the increase in such activities creates unacceptable risks of spillover effects, misinterpretation and possible escalation.

The Council adopts a regulation temporarily liberalising trade with the Republic of Moldova.

The EU issued a declaration commemorating the day of International Criminal Justice, and confirming its commitment to strengthening the international criminal justice system, and supporting the International Criminal Court.

The Council today decided to provide €1 billion of additional macro-financial assistance to Ukraine.

The convention will promote effective access to justice for all and facilitate international trade, investment and mobility by reducing the risks and costs of cross-border litigation.
