From 24.2.2015 to 29.4.2015, identity cards were issued with an error in the Turkish captions to the fields "Τόπος Γέννησης" (place of birth) and "Ημερ. Γέννησης" (date of birth): the Turkish captions to two of these fields were entered the wrong way round on these identity cards. On the date when the correction was made, i.e. on 29.4.2015, both identity cards with the error in the captions AND corrected identity cards were issued.
Persons who, at the time of submitting the application, have not reached the 12 years of age, are exempt from the requirement of measurement and recording of the height and of the taking of fingerprints on the identity card.
