Support for interoperable digital services - member states confirm agreement

On 23 September 2015, the Permanent Representatives Committee (Coreper) approved an informal deal reached with the European Parliament on a €131 million programme to help member states' public administrations provide interoperable digital services for citizens and businesses (ISA²).

Once the agreed text has undergone technical finalisation, it needs to be formally approved first by the Parliament and then by the Council. The Council is expected to adopt the decision in a few weeks' time.
