The Future is Green… and it must be youth driven! Have your say!
Do you want to inspire, be inspired, discuss what is really possible and share your vision for a European green transition? Take part in the EU Council's The future looks…green workshop at EYE2021!
Share your vision
We need you! Yes, the Green Transition cannot happen alone and we believe that societal change should and must be led by young people. Across Europe, young people have shown their deep commitment to the future of our planet.
Never before has the role of the younger generation been so critical in what happens next. Many of you may already be involved in local, national or global initiatives to change attitudes and behaviours and your insights are more than valuable.
And, we all seem to have similar questions on how to act, react and move forward to implement real change:
- What does it really take for our daily lives to become more sustainable?
- What are acts of “green kindness” and how can they make a difference?
- What is the role of young people? How can they get involved instead of letting others decide for them?
The EU Council is strongly committed to encouraging a youth-led approach, which is why the workshop “The future looks…green: understanding the role of the Council of the EU in the Green Transition” will provide a platform to exchange ideas and plan the next steps.
All you need to know to take part:

- When: Friday 8th October 11:30 - 12:30

- It’s not only about environmental policy - it's about every aspect of our lives
