European Cybersecurity Month 2020

cybersecurity

European Cybersecurity Month is in full swing, with hundreds of events taking place throughout the month of October to promote digital security and provide resources to empower EU citizens to protect themselves online.

This year's motto is 'Think Before U Click’, with a focus on digital skills to help people identify cyber threats, and also on cyber scams – with information on potential cyber threats such as phishing and online shopping fraud.

To join in on the action, the Council Library has published an update to its reading list 'An introduction to cybersecurity'. It contains books, e-books, articles, podcasts and videos to boost your cybersecurity skills!

If you are interested in this subject, you might also like to have a look at related reading lists the Council Library has created:

Please note that access to some of the resources may be limited to Council staff or subscribers. Non-Council readers can browse Eureka and access the open-access resources.

The Council library reading room is currently closed. The Info Desk remains open on line and will reply to queries by email from Monday to Friday, from 10.00 to 16.00.
