Library attends Brussels Think Tank Dialogue 2014

We are always looking for interesting papers to report in our (roughly) monthly Think Tank Review. So we could not really miss this year's edition of the Brussels Think Tank Dialogue.

The TT Dialogue is a joint endeavour of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Bruegel, the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), Confrontations Europe, the Egmont Institute, the European Policy Centre (EPC), Friends of Europe – Les amis de l’Europe, the Institut français des relations internationales (Ifri), Madariaga – College of Europe Foundation, the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP), with the European Voice as a media partner.

This year's edition looks at the challenges the new EU leadership will face after the elections and is organised in three panels dealing, respectively, with:

  • legitimacy and parliaments in the EU,
  • next steps for the economic and monetary union,
  • and the EU foreign policy.

We will post our takeaways from the papers and the discussion in the course of the day. Stay tuned.
