How to get there
The headquarters of the European Council and the Council of the EU are located in the European quarter in Brussels, next to the Schuman roundabout.
The Schuman roundabout is currently undergoing redevelopment works, which will continue until September 2026.
We strongly advise using public transport, as parking is extremely limited and mobility in the European quarter is significantly impacted by those works.
By metro or bus
Bus 12: from Brussels National Airport in Zaventem to Schuman
Buses 36, 60, 64: stop at Maelbeek/Maalbeek until the end of the works at Schuman roundabout
Metro lines 1 and 5: Schuman station
By train
Brussels Midi, Brussels Central and Brussels Nord railway stations are connected to Brussels Schuman train station in the immediate vicinity of the Council's headquarters. Trains run directly from Brussels National Airport in Zaventem to Brussels Schuman train station.
