Video conference of sport ministers, 21 April 2020
Main results
EU sport ministers held a video conference to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sport sector.
They have exchanged views, focusing on:
- specific measures foreseen or already in place to support the sport sector
- how to ensure the continuity of athletes’ training and enhance the physical activity of citizens while at the same time ensuring their safety and limiting the spreading the virus
- the main steps to be prepared and taken in order to successfully restart activity of the sport sector
