Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the EU on the alignment of certain countries with Council Decision concerning restrictive measures in response to the illegal recognition, occupation or annexation by the Russian Federation of certain non-government controlled areas of Ukraine
On 18 February 2025, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/3381.
Decision (CFSP) 2025/338 renewed the regime by one year until 24 February 2026.
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.
They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.
The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
