The Council amended the Ukraine Facility and Ukraine Plan to include nearly 30 additional conditionalities following more than €8 billion in Ukraine Support Loan financing.

On 22 June 2026, the European Union and Moldova held their second summit in Brussels. During the summit, leaders issued a joint declaration reflecting the depth of EU-Moldova partnership and the concrete benefits it brings to citizens.

On 19 June, the European Council adopted conclusions on the next multiannual financial framework, migration, illicit drugs, enlargement and reforms, the Republic of Moldova, Western Balkans and other items.
