The latest issue of our monthly Think Tank Review, Issue 16/2014, has been released. This month we present you a rich double issue, providing abstracts and links to publications from both July and  August 2014.

In the context of our monitoring of various think tank events in the Brussels bubble, we attended as US Ambassador to the EU Anthony Gardner presented his views on US - EU relations at a briefing hosted by the European Policy Centre. His remarks ranged from notes on current foreign policy challenges to TTIP negotiations and the role of the UK in the EU.

While the team is busy sifting through think tank publications for the next issue of our Review, here's a look back to days 2 and 3 of the 2014 UACES conference.

While our Head of Sector-at-large was in Cork for the EU studies conference UACES 2014, the library team had a look at a book that goes into significant detail of the protest movement in Greece, as well as moving into philosophical and sociological digressions.

As announced in yesterday's post, the first plenary session at the 2014 UACES  was meant to map the EU political landscape after this year's European elections, nominations and appointments.
