Rada zatwierdziła wypłatę blisko 2,8 mld euro na rzecz Kijowa w ramach unijnego Instrumentu na rzecz Ukrainy po pomyślnym zakończeniu jedenastu z dwudziestu etapów wymaganych do wypłaty siódmej transzy w ramach Planu Ukrainy. Ukraina zrealizowała również dwa zaległe etapy wymagane do wypłacenia piątej transzy i dwa zaległe etapy wymagane do wypłacenia szóstej transzy Planu Ukrainy.
