Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the EU on the alignment of certain countries concerning restrictive measures in view of actions destabilising the Republic of Moldova

On 15 July 2025 the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/1435¹.

That Decision added seven persons and three entities to the list of natural and legal persons, entities and bodies set out in the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2023/891.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova (Republic of), Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
