Eastern Partnership
The Eastern Partnership countries are: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. As of June 2021, however, Belarus suspended its participation in the Eastern Partnership.
Russia's war against Ukraine
The EU firmly condemns Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and stands with Ukraine and its people.
The EU has imposed massive and unprecedented sanctions against Russia in response to its war of aggression against Ukraine. Sanctions have also been imposed in relation to human rights violations and hybrid threats.
