This summer the Council Library will whisk you away across the continent with the second instalment of our Readers of Europe campaign. Through books recommended by the Permanent Representations in Brussels, the literary pit stops on this tour will shine a light on some of Europe’s hidden charms. We continue the series with a book selected by the Belgian Permanent Representation – The Capital by Robert Menasse.
