Virtual information sessions with Council experts
As part of the efforts to prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19, the Council temporarily suspended all physical visits of Council premises.
However, that does not mean that you cannot discuss the inner workings of the Council with us. Only now you can do it from the comfort of your own couch!
The Council's Visits team currently offers virtual information sessions via video conference to groups of at least 20 participants.
Using virtual meeting rooms, remote visitors have the opportunity to spend an hour or more learning about the functioning of the European Council and the Council of the EU – from wherever they are in the world. Our experts working at the Council will share their knowledge and experience about how it's like to work in the house of member states.
This is a unique experience where visitors have the opportunity to meet Council experts and ask them questions without having to leave the comfort of your own home!
Information sessions can either be a general introduction to the European Council and the Council or on a more specific topic.
You can even speak with Council Librarians about our collections, and the work we do!
This is a special opportunity for anyone with an interest in EU politics, European history or current affairs.
This blog post does not necessarily represent the positions, policies, or opinions of the Council of the European Union or the European Council.
The Council library reading room is currently closed. The Info Desk remains open on line and will reply to queries by email from Monday to Friday, from 10.00 to 16.00.
