Europa building, Brussels

Ministers will exchange views on the energy situation in the context of the war in Ukraine.

This ministerial debate will take place in the context of Gazprom's decision to suspend gas deliveries to Poland and Bulgaria under its contracts with these two countries, from 27 April.

It aims to take stock of possible additional actions in terms of safeguarding supply, gas transit and management of gas stocks, in particular with a view to the weeks and months to come.

It also aims to explore measures to strengthen coordination between the European Union and its member states and the dissemination of common messages.
