Western Balkans Library Guide

Western Balkans map.

The European Union has close links with the Western Balkans partners. During the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, Slovenia will host the EU-Western Balkans summit on 6 October 2021. In the light of this summit, the Council Library has compiled a Library Guide of resources relating to the topic.

Browsing through the tabs you will find links to relevant Council website pages, EU publications, books, articles and databases.

This Library Guide is by no means exhaustive. It serves as an overview of a selection of available resources.

You can also explore the range of other Library Guides the Council has on offer. There are guides on broad policy topics and more specialised reference lists; guides on optimising the use of library resources; and guides to augment personal and professional development.

Browsing by subject you can find guides organised by key policy area and Council configuration, for example: economic and financial affairs, law, foreign affairs, agriculture and fisheries, environment and public health, to name a few.

And the good news is, the number of Library Guides will continue to expand.

This post does not necessarily represent the positions, policies, or opinions of the Council of the European Union or the European Council.

The Council Library reading room is currently closed. The Info Desk remains open online and will reply to queries by email from Monday to Friday, 10.00 to 16.00.
