- an asylum seeker admitted to reside who can demonstrate that an appeal has been lodged with the "Commission des recours des réfugiés" (Refugee Appeals Board) in connection with an initial application
- an asylum seeker admitted to reside who can demonstrate that an appeal has been lodged with the "Commission des recours des réfugiés" (Refugee Appeals Board) in connection with a request for re-examination
A receipt certifying that an asylum application has been made does not allow the holder to travel in the Schengen area or to third countries
